Dr. Jeffrey Bewley provides dairies the expertise and guidance to improve cow health, productivity and profitability. A dairy housing and analytics specialist at Alltech, Dr. Bewley works with farmers in a variety of operational areas, including in heat stress reduction. Dr. Bewley applies a data-based approach to heat stress assessment to while seeking technological solutions that maximize cow cooling efficiency and effectiveness.
Jeffrey Bewley has participated in numerous research efforts over the course of his career. As a graduate student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Dr. Bewley performed research in the capacity of Graduate Research Assistant from 1998 to 2000. Additionally, between 2005 and 2008, Bewley worked as Graduate Research Assistant within the Purdue University Animal Sciences program.

Dr. Jeffrey Bewley has extensive experience in dairy management. Dr. Jeffrey Bewley worked as milk-hand and record keeper at the Skees and Flowers Dairy from 1989 to 1998. He served as interim herd manager at the Driefontein Melkery in South Africa in 1998, and was a graduate research assistant working in dairy science at UW-Madison from 1998 to 2000. Dr. Bewley taught at the University of Kentucky Animal and Food Sciences Department from 2008 to 2017.
